Cookie Policy
Section 02
Cookies we use
We use a minimal set of cookies: those that are necessary to operate the Site and, if you accept them, analytics cookies that help us understand how the Site is used. They fall into the following categories:
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are necessary for the Site to function, so we enable them without asking for your consent. They include:
- Language preference: a cookie to remember your preferred language across visits.
- Authentication session: set for authorized administrative users only; it is not set for general visitors and expires when the browser is closed.
- Cookie consent: a cookie that stores the choice you made in the banner so that you are not asked again on every visit.
Analytics cookies
These are cookies and similar technologies that help us understand how visitors use the Site and measure the effectiveness of our marketing channels: which pages are visited most often, how visitors arrive, and what generates commercial interest. Third-party analytics tools are loaded through Google Tag Manager and are activated only if you accept them in the cookie banner. They may record technical data about your visit, such as an identifier assigned to your browser, the pages you view, the type of device, and an approximate location. We do not use this data to identify you. The providers of these tools may process it under their own terms and privacy policies. Marketing attribution parameters (such as source, medium, and campaign) may be captured from the URL when you arrive at our Site.
We do not use advertising or behavioral tracking cookies beyond what is described above.
Section 04
Your choices
You have several options for managing cookies:
Cookie consent banner
When you first visit our Site, a cookie banner lets you choose: "Necessary only" enables only the cookies that make the Site work, and "Accept all" also enables analytics cookies. Under "View cookie details," you can turn analytics cookies on or off and confirm with "Save preferences." Until you make a choice, analytics cookies remain disabled. Your choice is saved for future visits, and you can change it or withdraw your consent at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of every page.
Browser settings
All modern browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can configure your browser to block all cookies, accept only first-party cookies, or be notified when a cookie is set. Instructions for managing cookies in the most common browsers are available at the links below:
Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent some features of the Site from working properly, such as language selection or form submission. Declining analytics cookies does not affect how the Site works.
Do Not Track
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Our Site currently does not alter its behavior in response to DNT signals, because there is no industry-wide standard for how DNT should be interpreted. We describe our practices fully in this policy.
Section 05
Quebec Law 25 and consent
Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (CQLR c P-39.1), as amended by Law 25 (SQ 2021, c 25), governs how personal information is collected and used; in this policy, "Law 25" refers to the Act as amended. Some cookies may collect personal information, for example when they record your browsing or make it possible to identify you. That is why cookies that are not necessary for the Site to function remain disabled until you accept them.
Strictly necessary cookies are used only to make the Site work: they store your language preference and the choice you made in the banner, and they are not used to analyze your browsing. That is why we enable them without asking for your consent. Analytics cookies are enabled only if you accept them in the cookie banner.
UTM tracking and form submissions. If you arrive at our Site from a campaign link and have accepted analytics cookies, the attribution parameters in the URL (such as source, medium, and campaign) may be included in the quote request you submit. We use them to measure the effectiveness of our marketing channels. If you have not accepted analytics cookies, your request is sent without these parameters.
Our cookie banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies before they are enabled. For more information about how we handle personal information, please see our Privacy Policy.
Section 06
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our practices. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last revised. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
If we make material changes to the types of cookies we use or the purposes for which we use them, we will notify you through a prominent notice on our Site or by updating the cookie consent banner.
